Hello Caregivers of Pacific Coast, Although there are different days and weeks devoted to recognizing caregivers across Canada, Healthcare Aide Day is commemorated here in BC in October every year. So, I would like to take this opportunity to give you my heartfelt thanks and let you know how much I appreciate the dedication and superior care that you continue to provide to the clients of Pacific Coast. I recognize that this has been a difficult time, and that the COVID-19 pandemic has made your job even more challenging. But your care has not faltered. I am so proud of the supportive, compassionate manner in which you have supported our clients, allowing them to live in dignity and remain independent as long as possible. Healthcare Aides go by many names, but whether you are a Community Health Worker, a Home Support Worker, or an Office Support Professional, please know that you are an integral part of the frontline healthcare system of our country.
