Pacific Coast Health Services is currently looking for Casual Caregivers to serve clients in the Greater Victoria Area. Care Aide Certification is an asset, but those with caregiving experience are also welcome to apply.Position Summary: Caregivers feel a sense of enjoyment and happiness from helping other people who truly need it. As a Home Support Worker at Pacific Coast, you will work in our clients’ homes helping them to live their lives independently. We are looking for people who can work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Potential live-in shifts may be available for those interested.Key
Responsibilities: • Simple Personal care • Assistance in the bathroom, shower • Feeding • Medication assistance • Light housekeeping • Meal preparation • Accompany to appointments • Companionship
About You: • Previous experience with caregiving • Certification in a related health field from another Province or Country is an asset • Ability to obtain a Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search upon hire • Ability to provide references who will tell us you are reliable, punctual, and committed • A caring, helpful attitude • A reliable vehicle Pacific Coast offers a competitive compensation package and scheduling flexibility.
