Respite care

When the Caregiver needs a helping hand

For many caring for a loved one can be a rewarding experience. However, no matter how rewarding it is for you, caring for your loved one and maintaining your own life is extremely difficult.

Everyone deserves a break & it is extremely important that you get some time to relax & take a little time for yourself. Fatigue & depression can set in with constant in-home care. Unintentionally this can reduce the effectiveness of your efforts and decrease the quality of care.

Setting up a respite care service schedule should never make you feel guilty. This schedule will make a better family caregiver in the long-term. Even if it’s just an extended lunch, visit with a friend or just a break from in-home care will give you the energy you need to be the best caregiver possible.

No one can or should be expected to do it alone

Specialty Care

Pacific Coast Healthcare Services provides a wide range of specialty care plans for seniors and people with disabilities. All plans are customized to your individual healthcare needs.

Hospice Care

End of Life Care with Dignity

The word hospice brings up negative thoughts of very sick people spending their last days and weeks in a depressive state. However, that is outdated thinking that should not stop you from considering hospice services. Hospice is designed to provide comfort care that can make the end of life easier to bear and more comfortable.

No one likes to discuss end-of-life care and death. But it’s worth having the difficult conversations because patients should be as comfortable as possible in order to receive the level of treatment they desire. Take the time to learn more so you can make an informed decision about your care or the care of a loved one.

Pacific Coast Health Services' goal is to help patients get the best quality of life in the time remaining. Our Dedicated Healthcare Team care for any type of physical and emotional symptoms that cause pain, discomfort and distress. The care is specifically catered around the patient’s needs and wishes. The patient’s loved ones receive support as well.

Hospice care is frequently provided in the patient’s home, but patients can receive hospice care where they feel comfortable. From home to the hospital & longterm care facilities, Pacific Coast Health Services will be there for you.
